Lost momentum

Over the past few months since my injury I have been losing momentum.  The holidays have also not helped with this and in fact has continued to hinder my efforts.

The lack of physical activity always seems to make it very difficult to eat right, and I have seen this first hand over the past couple months.

Remember, if you fall off the wagon, like I kinda have, the only thing you can do is get back on that wagon.  There is no shame in having to get back on the wagon, but there is shame in giving up.

Start climbing, it is not that big of a climb!

Merry Christmas!

Tim Wilson -

  1. Boy do I understand about losing the momentum. I lost 130 lbs from Dec. 2006 to Dec. 2007. I have kept it off for a year now, but I seem to be finding excuses to not exercise. Which makes it hard to keep it off.

For some added inspiration, you can check out my blog if you want. I really enjoyed looking over yours. Thanks for being there.

  2. Great perseverance! The opposite is like a cup I was given, "Energy bunny arrested! Charged with Battery!"

Getting back on the wagon again is not nearly so bad when we realize that someone inspired by our attitude may get on the wagon for the first time.

An ant should never cross it's own trail - other ants following their lead may end up going in circles.

  3. run4change, I will take a look at your blog - thanks for stopping by and your kind words.

Dad, I am sure you will keep that cup for a long time based on the deeper meaning. Link to post

  4. Tim I enjoy reading your blog and find motivation in it. I have started so many times trying to achieve what you already have, but haven’t. I’m almost one month in it this time and hoping this will be the one when I do make it. Now jump back on that wagon and let’s do this… not tomorrow.

  5. Thanks for stopping by Barry and the encouraging words. I will be back on the wagon.... soon. I am starting now and will hopefully be back on 100% by the end of the week. I am taking it slow not expecting to do it overnight because of guests and the holidays still being in full swing.

You can do it - just star focused.

  6. It all changes today for me. I'm back on the straight and narrow.

I was so close to my goal but now I'm about 20ish pounds away again.

  7. Andrew - hope your changes are all taking place and you are back on the road for those last 20 lbs!
